This Privacy Policy explains how Tours by Kapil Raj (“we”, “us”) collects and uses your personal data when you visit this website or contact us, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) / the Dutch AVG.
Who is responsible (data controller)

What data we collect and why
- Contact / booking inquiries. When you use the contact form or email us, we collect the data you provide: your name, email address, phone number (if given) and the content of your message (which may include trip preferences and travel dates). We use this only to respond to and handle your inquiry. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and/or our legitimate interest in answering inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Technical / server log data. Like most websites, our host processes standard technical data (IP address, browser/user-agent, time of request) to deliver and secure the site (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) to understand how the site is used. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner.
Who we share it with (recipients / processors)
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf:
- Website hosting: Hostinger.
- Contact-form email delivery: outgoing mail is sent via Google (Gmail); your inquiry is received in our mailbox at Yahoo (kapilrajsinghrathore@yahoo.co.in). Yahoo and Google are US-based providers.
- Form storage: form submissions are also stored in our website database (via the Contact Form 7 / Contact Form Entries plugin).
- Analytics: Google (Google Analytics / Site Kit), subject to your cookie consent.
- Embedded video: two tour pages embed videos from YouTube using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced “no-cookie” domain, which avoids YouTube’s advertising/tracking cookies. Please note that when such an embedded video is loaded, your IP address is still shared with YouTube (Google) to deliver it; you can manage non-essential content through the cookie banner.
International transfers
Some recipients (the operator’s access from India, and Google/Yahoo in the US) may process your data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, where applicable. You can request details via the email above.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-inquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request and for up to 24 months after your last contact, unless a booking relationship or a legal obligation requires us to keep it longer.
Your rights
Under the GDPR/AVG you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to data portability. You can withdraw any consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the Netherlands, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
